Meet The Fleet & Trial Sails

Our Meet the Fleet Days are an opportunity to see a number of our yachts and catamarans at the same time.  We always have existing current members and/or owners helping us, and so it is a wonderful opportunity to get a personal and candid opinion of FlexiSail and to have questions answered by those actually enjoying membership.

The FlexiSail team will also be there to answer other questions you might have about the boats, membership, ownership or training.  We pride ourselves on having the newest and best maintained boats, the best bespoke and mentored RYA training, and the best and most comprehensive social events.  We have never failed to impress even when FlexiSail membership has not been the right solution.  As always we will have hot drinks and sandwiches to enjoy whilst you are with us.

During some of the Meet The Fleet days we are also offering Trial Sails. These are a fantastic way to sail a yacht or catamaran that you might like to be a member on, or experience a different type of boat than you are used to. There is no better way to get to know us at FlexiSail than to experience the product in action! The cost is just £49 per person and is fully refundable should you decide to proceed with membership within 3 months.

We also offer a few places at our Spring Folly and Gins Farm social events for prospective members to join us for a whole day. Please advise us if you are interested in this option.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Gins Farm Rally, Beaulieu New Forest

Saturday 29th September, 10.00 till 17.00 approx

Hamble, Lymington

Our ‘end of season’ sailing rally up the stunning Beaulieu River to the Royal Southampton Yacht Club’s second clubhouse Gins Farm.  We stop for a scrumptious lunch before sailing back to base.

Last year over 60 members attended and we would like to invite a small number of prospective members to join us for the day. This is a great opportunity to meet a large number of current members, enjoy a days sailing and have lunch at one of the most stunning locations in the solent. The cost is £99 per person, including the 3 course lunch and berthing. If you join within 3 months £70 per person will be refunded.

Interested? – please call the FlexiSail Team in the office.

Catamarans did not cross my mind until your Open Day, I had come for something like Sailfin (Oceanis 43 monohull) that I used to be a member on. What sold me was the segregated “ground floor,” “passenger” daytime accommodation that is great for the less agile. Loads of indoor light, comfort and space all in complete safety. With the sailing activity completely separate up on deck, nobody (including the mobility challenged) can be inadvertently sitting in the way of operations. Melodie is a boat that can one day be a caravan break, pootling sedately around the river with my disabled lad, and the next provide exciting coastal sailing for me. Vivien, the land lubber, likes the fact that it will never heel and spill her wine!
