Your FREE Sail Training Videos

We have developed and filmed a wide range of short, informative and useful free sail training videos and these are available to you with no strings attached. We hope that you enjoy them.

These free training videos are perfect if you are a little rusty or just starting out.  Alternatively you may want to know more or want to know a better way to do something. Packed full of useful tips and information we hope that they will be helpful to you for many years to come.

One example is ‘how to tie up your boat’. We see badly tied up boats every day and it is not always the work of a novice. Boat damage often occurs as a result, and yet is so easily avoided!

Do feel free to pass these sail training videos on to your crew and friends before they come sailing with you. Wouldn’t it be great if they had that clove hitch or bowline nailed beforehand?

This series of free sail training videos are an added benefit to our FlexiSail Members for them to learn from, and to use as a refresher when returning to sailing. Our videos are also designed to help crew better understand what is happening on a boat. It is an opportunity for them to learn some of the basics which in turn will enable them to feel more confident, contribute and join in the fun. While these free sail training videos are not intended to be all encompassing, they are a great motivator and reference for your library.

WHY IN THIS COMMERCIAL AGE ARE WE GIVING AWAY SOMETHING SO VALUABLE FOR FREE?

The answer is very simple. We do not operate like any other sailing school. FlexiSail is a unique company that brings together the 3 most important aspects of sailing, which are quality boat access, mentored and individual training, and a year round fun social programme. Teaching our members on an RYA Training Package is something that we do day in and day out, and we are very happy to also help you by giving you access to this valuable free sail training video collection. At the same time you will gain a flavour of our style and approach to teaching – see for yourself the added value that we give our members and the great way that we support their sailing.

We passionately believe that we have simply the best and most affordable way for people to sail, whether they are just starting out, returning to sailing, or already an experienced skipper.  Our members enjoy a supported training environment on great boats within a wonderful, sociable community that is simply staggering value for money.

Just a short note to thank you very much for a terrific course last week. We all enjoyed learning with you and are all set to make a start as a sailing family. Thanks in particular for your patience with the kids - despite needing some 'down time' occasionally with a DVD, they also had a great time. Of course, we were all delighted to come away flushed with success in getting our Day Skipper and Competent Crew 'qualifications'. We will put our new-found skills into practice this weekend and hope not to embarrass ourselves (or our erstwhile instructor!) by crashing into the pontoons!
