All exercises on the water are subject to time and weather. The most important areas to be covered are full familiarisation of the boat and its systems and boat handling including close quarters manoeuvres under power in and around the yacht home berths. Manoeuvres under sail should be assessed if time and weather allow, depending on the student level of competence.
