Our Wauquiez 43 Pilot Saloon is a beautiful luxury blue water cruiser, which is permanently based in the Mediterranean. Currently she is in Vliho Bay, Lefkas in the Greek Ionian. Wauquiez are a small French builder competing with the likes of Oyster and Swan, and building only a handful of handcrafted yachts each year. Dreamcatcher is one of only 48 in the world and underwent a £160,000 refit in 2016. Whilst she is a powerful yacht, comfort and safety are the prime considerations. She is therefore fitted out with two fridges, a generator, solar panels, Mastervolt energy management system, 240V constant supply, all of which allow 24/7 use of the electric kettle, microwave, hairdryer, chargers etc. All upholstery is new and the beds are fully sprung luxury! Air conditioning is provided throughout.
Dreamcatcher is available through membership, but also as a benefit of our loyalty programme.
Dreamcatcher is fitted with twin forestays, giving both a large genoa and a self tacking jib. The mainsail is on Harken ball bearing roller cars with full length battens giving an exceptionally good sail shape and power. An electric winch takes the hard work out of hoisting the main! She also carries a large light wind asymmetric. All deck areas are teak. As you would expect, she has a new chart plotter, AIS transponder, autopilot, bow thruster, bimini, swim platform etc.
This yacht is about quality not numbers and as such she has a master cabin with island bed and en suite heads and separate shower room. A second large double is in the forepeak, with a single pilot berth in a side cabin. These two cabins share a second heads and shower. A minimum of 3 people are required to sail her safely.
Dreamcatcher is coded for 6 to category 2 (60 miles from a safe haven).
