FlexiCrew Membership

Would you like to get out on the water, gain personal experience and enjoy some of the benefits of FlexiSail but don’t have the time to commit to a membership? FlexiCrew membership could be your answer.

Many of our members are short of crew at different times and are often looking for someone to sail with, particularly at relatively short notice. Much of the sailing is day sailing in the Solent, but could on occasions be further afield.

Here are some of the advantages of joining as a FlexiCrew member:

As a FlexiCrew member, you would have the opportunity to sail on our beautiful fleet of cruising yachts, based at both Hamble and Lymington giving you ability to build experience and sea miles with a variety of skippers.

You will also be able to take advantage of our members’ special rates on our RYA training courses which are run through our own sailing school, Solent Nautical College.

You will be invited to our social gatherings, which are both fun and give you an opportunity to meet many of our members and ensure that you get asked to sail!

This is how it works:

By joining our FlexiCrew membership programme your name, personal details and photograph will be added to our crew database for 12 months from the date of joining. All members and owners have access to the data base, which is also regularly circulated to them. When they need crew they will have your details at hand to call or email you to ask your availability. You will be included on our mailing data base and receive the opportunity to join in with our social events, take advantage of training workshops and receive the members discount on RYA courses run by our RYA Training Centre, Solent Nautical College. At the end of 12 months you will have the opportunity to renew for a further year.

As for the cost — we just charge an annual administration charge of £199 inc vat.
