Our Loyalty Partners In Lymington

LymingtonLymington is an attractive old market town situated at the western end of the Solent, just 3 miles away from the Needles Channel. Although the river tends to be quite busy with the regular ferries to and from the Isle of Wight, it is a sheltered spot and accessible at all states of the tide.

Lymington is very popular destination with yachtsmen and women. Visitor berthing, in the summer, can be scarce so it is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment – it is a truly great place to visit and you don’t want to miss out!

One of our lovely members sent us these photos and a little precis of his journey on Shanouda (Dufour 375) earlier this month:-

'This voyage with sons Mark & Richard, grand daughter Ella with her friend from her school, was Hamble to Weymouth on the 5th (a real tough close hauled bash all the way) with a great dinner in the Ship Inn, then a delightful downwind sail to Yarmouth IoW, but having a bouncy outside mooring on the 6th with Mark’s best Spag Bol on board – then finally, a ripping downwind with the tide back to the Hamble on the 7th. A super happy weekend.'
